Bing & Grøndahl French bulldog puppy figurine no. 1983

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 1983 depicts a small bulldog puppy with lots of personality. The seated dog figurine has an alert expression, large upright ears and a distinctive face, which brings the figurine to life from every angle. The light porcelain surface and the calm underglaze highlight the soft shapes and the fine modelling in the head, paws and chest.

It is a porcelain figurine that speaks directly to collectors of Bing & Grøndahl, dog figurines and classic Danish porcelain. The motif has both charm and weight: a puppy that seems curious, a little proud and at the same time full of calm. It is precisely that balance that makes the figurine decorative on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a collection of animal figurines in porcelain.

This bulldog puppy also fits well into a modern interior, where older porcelain figurines add warmth, history and personality to the home. Vintage porcelain like this is made to last, and there is something special about giving a classic design new life in today's home. The figurine is also an obvious gift idea for the dog lover, the collector or the one who appreciates Danish decorative art with character.

The existing description states the technique as underglaze, which emphasizes the classic porcelain expression. Together with the figurine number 1983, this makes the model easy to identify for collectors seeking precisely a Bing & Grøndahl dog figurine, bulldog figurine or porcelain dog with number.
