Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Bing & Grøndahl dog figurine no. 2035

Cavalier King Charles Spaniel from Bing & Grøndahl is a classic dog figurine in porcelain, model no. 2035, which reproduces the breed's soft expression and characteristic silhouette with great precision. The figurine shows the sitting spaniel with raised head, long wavy ears and an attentive gaze, which gives the motif both calm, warmth and personality. For collectors of Bing & Grøndahl figurines and for dog lovers, it is a porcelain figurine that speaks directly to the heart.

The glazed surface highlights the modelled details in the coat in a lively way. On this dog figurine, a predominantly white coat is seen with dark areas on the ears, back and hindquarters as well as warm golden shades around the face. The combination of the soft shapes and the fine underglaze gives the figurine depth and a natural play in the surface, which suits the motif particularly well.

Bing & Grøndahl is known for porcelain figurines with strong observation of animals and nature, and this Cavalier King Charles Spaniel fits beautifully into that tradition. It works both as a collector's figurine, as a decorative detail in the living room, on the shelf or in the display cabinet and as an obvious gift for an owner or admirer of the breed. It also harmonises nicely with other dog figurines and animal figurines in porcelain, if you wish to create a personal collection with classic Danish porcelain.

If you are looking for a Bing & Grøndahl dog figurine with a lifelike motif and an expression that feels present without becoming heavy, no. 2035 is a very well-chosen example. It is precisely the type of porcelain figurine that has both decorative value and appeals to collectors who go for specific breeds, model numbers and classic figurines from Bing & Grøndahl.
