Bing & Grøndahl kitten figurine no. 2143, 8 cm

Bing & Grøndahl kitten figurine no. 2143 is a small porcelain figurine with a calm and present expression. The seated kitten is modelled in a compact, rounded form with a slightly bowed head, which gives the figurine life and personality. The light underglaze and the dark marking on the body emphasize the cat's simple, natural appearance and make the figurine easy to place in both classic and modern homes.

As a cat figurine from Bing & Grøndahl, it speaks directly to collectors of Danish porcelain and to those who are fond of animals depicted with a sense of form and mood. The format makes it suitable on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as a small detail on a desk, chest of drawers, or bookcase. It also works well together with other porcelain figurines, where it adds a soft and homely expression.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they are created to be kept, used, and enjoyed for many years. A figurine with history adds soul to the home and is at the same time a sustainable choice when one chooses existing quality over new production. This makes this kitten a gift idea with lasting value - both for the collector, the cat lover, and the one who appreciates Danish design tradition.
