Kosta Boda glass figurine 1976 Darling - Kosta Sweden Family

This glass figurine from Kosta Boda combines a playful design language with the special charm that characterizes the Kosta Sweden Family series. The figure "Darling" from 1976 stands with a calm, human expression and a stylized appearance that makes it both decorative and easily recognizable as Swedish glass art with character. On the base, the year "1976" can be seen, which makes the figure interesting for collectors of annual figures and older glass figurines from Kosta.

The motif depicts a female figure made in clear and white glass with hand-painted facial features and a small flower on the body. The soft shapes, the transparent glass, and the simple decoration give the figure a warm and personal expression. It is precisely the combination of clear glass and the white core that creates a fine play of light, which appears beautifully on a windowsill, in a display cabinet, and on a shelf together with other Nordic art glass.

As a vintage glass figurine, this Kosta Boda figure also contains a special history. Older design objects like this are created to last and can still add personality to the home many years after they were made. This makes it an obvious choice for those who appreciate Swedish design, collector's glass figurines, or wish to decorate with decorative art and art glass with soul rather than new production.

"Darling" can stand alone as a small art object, but it also works well together with other figures from Kosta Sweden Family if you wish to build up a complete family group. It is also an obvious gift idea for the collector of Kosta Boda, for the design enthusiast, or for yourself, if you appreciate vintage glass with story and expression.
