About the product

1976 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate with the title Swan with Cygnets was designed by Henry Thelander. The motif of the 1976 Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plate shows a swan with cygnets. The cygnets become white when they are two years old. Until then they are gray or greyish brown. In 1984 the Mute Swan was choosen to the Danish National Bird by a voting in the Danish television. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plates were started in 1969 and are still being continued with a new Mother's Day plate every year.
