This 1979 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day Jubilee plate was issued to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the first Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate in 1969. The motif of this 1979 Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day Jubilee plate is the same as the motif of the 1969 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate. The motif shows a cocker spaniel with puppies. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plate was designed by Henry Thelander. Cocker Spaniels are known as lovely family dogs. They have lot of energy and like to take part in the activities in the family. The Cocker Spaniels could be used for hunting or as tracker dog.
