25 Swedish landscapes in the same series
Seltmann Weiden Swedish Landscapes consists of 25 different plates – one for each of Sweden's landscapes.
The series includes Skåne, Blekinge, Halland, Småland, Öland, Gotland, Västergötland, Bohuslän, Dalsland, Östergötland, Södermanland, Närke, Värmland, Västmanland, Uppland, Gästrikland, Dalarna, Hälsingland, Härjedalen, Medelpad, Jämtland, Ångermanland, Västerbotten, Lappland, and Norrbotten.
You can therefore choose a landscape you know or have visited, select a specific year, or simply find the motif you like best.
Swedish farms, lakes, forests, and summer landscapes
The motifs vary greatly throughout the series. Some show open landscapes, lakes, and forests, while others come closer to villages, old wooden houses, people, and animals.
Several of the plates have a bright and summery expression with green fields, flowers, and Swedish rural life. Some motifs almost evoke thoughts of Astrid Lindgren's Sweden and the atmosphere from Emil of Lönneberga.
Although the motif changes from plate to plate, the same blue border with flowers, leaves, and plant ornaments repeats throughout the series. This gives the plates a unified expression and makes them easy to combine.
How to use Seltmann landscape plates at home
Seltmann Swedish Landscapes can be used both on the table and as decoration on the wall. This makes the series perfect if you want to enjoy the plates in everyday life rather than just having them as collector's items.
Set the table with different Swedish motifs
The plates can be used as plates and are suitable for breakfast, lunch, cake, and dessert. They are dishwasher safe, making them easy to bring out and use.
On the table, you can easily mix different landscapes. The blue decoration ties them together, even though the motifs differ, so you don't need a complete set.
You can also select plates based on your guests' birth years or other significant years, making the table setting more personal.
