Royal Copenhagen polar bear cub figurine no. 21435 or 235, Knud Kyhn

This polar bear cub from Royal Copenhagen is a charming animal figurine with an expression that immediately draws attention. The figurine was designed by Knud Kyhn, who is known for his lively and characterful animal motifs, and here it is the little bear cub that takes center stage with an almost shy and thoughtful body language. The white figurine has soft, rounded shapes, small dark eyes, and a pronounced snout, which gives the motif warmth and personality.

The polar bear cub stands closely gathered with its front paws drawn up in front of the body, which gives the figurine a calm and almost protective expression. From the sides, the fine modeling in the fur and the compact, natural body shape can be seen, which emphasizes Knud Kyhn's special ability to depict animals with both weight and feeling. The white glaze highlights the figurine's calm appearance and makes it easy to place in the interior, where it fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a collection of Royal Copenhagen figurines.

For collectors of Royal Copenhagen and for those who are fond of classic Danish design, this bear figurine is an obvious choice. Older figurines with history add soul and character to the home, and at the same time they are a sustainable alternative to new production. A figurine like this can stand alone as a decorative feature, but it can also be combined with other animal figurines to create a personal story in the interior.

It is also a lovely gift idea for someone who appreciates Danish porcelain art, animal figurines, and design with lasting value. The motif is delicate and timeless, and that is precisely why this type of figurine remains beautiful and relevant across generations.
