Bing & Grøndahl beagle dog figurine no. 2565 or 565 16 cm

This reclining beagle from Bing & Grøndahl is a classic dog figurine in porcelain with a calm and attentive expression. The figurine is modelled with the front paws stretched forward, the head slightly raised and the characteristic drooping ears, which give the beagle its soft and recognisable character. The warm brownish shades together with darker areas over the back and the white chest and leg colouring give the figurine life and depth and emphasise the breed's well-known markings.

It is a porcelain figurine that appeals both to collectors of Bing & Grøndahl and to dog lovers who would like to decorate with ceramic or porcelain figurines with personality. The glossy glaze highlights the fine transitions in the colours, and the motif has a natural calm that makes the figurine suitable on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a larger collection of animal figurines. The reclining beagle is also well suited as a gift idea for an owner of the breed or for someone who appreciates Danish porcelain design.

The expression is friendly and faithful, and that is precisely what makes this B&G dog figurine easy to place in the home. It can stand alone as a small eye-catcher or be combined with other porcelain figurines, where it adds warmth and a more lively motif. The current product text states the model as dog figurine no. 2565 or 565, and the technique is stated as underglaze.
