Royal Copenhagen Kilroy cat figurine no. 677 7.5 cm

Royal Copenhagen Kilroy figurine no. 677 is a charming cat figurine in porcelain, designed by Allan Therkelsen. It belongs to the popular Mini Cat collection, where each figurine has its own expression and its own little personality. Kilroy is depicted in a calm, seated posture with the head bowed slightly downward, which gives the figurine a thoughtful and lively expression that many cat lovers will immediately recognize.

The soft lines and the fine underglaze decoration emphasize Royal Copenhagen's sure command of porcelain figurines. On this model, the cat appears in light, warm shades with delicate stripes in beige and light orange over a white base. The slender body, the long legs, and the curved tail give the figurine a light and natural character, while the glossy glaze highlights the small details in the modeling.

As a collector's figurine, Kilroy is an obvious choice for those who are fond of Royal Copenhagen figurines, cat figurines, and Danish porcelain design. It fits beautifully in a display cabinet collection, on a shelf, on the windowsill, or as a discreet decorative detail on a desk or side table. The figurine is also an obvious gift idea for the cat person who appreciates classic design and small porcelain figurines with character.

There is something special about older porcelain figurines like this one. They are created to be kept, appreciated, and used in the interior year after year. A figurine like Kilroy brings both history, craftsmanship, and personality into the home and is at the same time a fine example of how good design can find new life with new owners.
