Royal Copenhagen Pug dog figurine no. 041 Pia Langelund

Royal Copenhagen pug dog figurine no. 041 is a charming porcelain figurine with lots of personality. Pia Langelund has captured the pug's very special expression in a calm seated posture, where the compact body language, the dark mask and the characteristic folds in the face give the figure life and presence. It is a dog figurine that immediately evokes recognition among both collectors and dog lovers.

The figurine has a warm and natural interplay of colors with a light body and darker details around the head, ears and muzzle, which emphasizes the breed's well-known characteristics. The underglaze technique used gives the surface a beautiful, harmonious expression and contributes to the classic Royal Copenhagen atmosphere that many associate with Danish porcelain and thoroughly worked design language.

As a porcelain figurine, this pug fits nicely into both classic and modern homes. It is ideal on a shelf, in a display cabinet section, on the desk or as part of a collection of animal figurines from Royal Copenhagen. For those who are fond of dog figurines in porcelain, this model is a fine choice because it combines a lifelike expression with Danish design tradition. It is also an obvious gift idea for the pug owner, the dog friend or the collector who appreciates figurines with character.

Older and used design objects like this often have a special charm because they bring history, quality and personality into the interior. Choosing porcelain with soul is at the same time a beautiful way to give good craftsmanship new life and let it create joy for many years to come.
