Royal Copenhagen Mini Children Michael football figurine no. 007

Michael is a charming porcelain figurine from Royal Copenhagen, capturing a moment of childhood football joy in a small, fine format. The figurine depicts a boy with folded hands and a football at his feet, dressed in a striped shirt, dark shorts, white socks and lace-up shoes. The calm expression and the relaxed posture give the figurine life and personality and make it ideal for both collectors of porcelain figurines and football enthusiasts.

As part of the Mini Children series, Michael has the special blend of play, everyday life and classic Danish figurine tradition that makes the collection so sought-after. The blue stripes in the shirt, the light hair and the light ball create an expression that is easy to recognize and easy to love. The figurine works beautifully on its own as a small football figurine on the shelf, desk or in the display cabinet, but it is also ideal as part of a larger collection of Mini Children.

The design is executed by Sven Vestergaard, and the figurine is made of porcelain with underglaze. This gives it the sheen and depth that many collectors associate with classic Royal Copenhagen figurines. Michael is at the same time 1 of a series of 12 children, which makes it extra interesting for anyone who wishes to supplement or complete their collection with the different motifs from the Mini Children collection.

A figurine like this brings both nostalgia and personality into the home. It is well suited as a gift for a football player, a sports enthusiast or a collector of Danish porcelain figurines with motifs of children and leisure life. For many, it is precisely this type of figurine with history, craftsmanship and recognizable motif that makes the décor more personal and gives older quality design new life in modern surroundings.
