Royal Copenhagen Christina bathing girl Mini Children figurine no. 012

Christina bathing girl is a charming porcelain figurine from Royal Copenhagen, created as part of the Mini Children series. The figurine captures a summery moment by the water, where the little bathing girl stands with swim fins on her feet, a rubber duck by her toes, an inflatable swim ring around her waist, and sunglasses in her hair. Beside her stands a small bucket, which completes the story of a trip to the beach, play, and the simple joys of childhood.

The expression is calm and lively at the same time. The soft shapes and the fine details give the figurine personality, while the light blue shades together with the warm red and golden tones create a light and summery overall impression. It is precisely the type of figurine that awakens memories and adds a touch of nostalgia to the home, without losing its decorative strength in a contemporary interior.

The figurine is designed by Sven Vestergaard and executed in underglaze, which emphasizes Royal Copenhagen's strong tradition of porcelain craftsmanship and durable decoration. As part of the Mini Children series, Christina is also of particular interest to collectors. She can stand beautifully alone in a bookcase, a display cabinet, or on a shelf, but is also ideal as a supplement to an existing collection of Mini Children figurines. As this figurine is 1 of a series of 12 children, it is also relevant for collectors who wish to expand or complete the series.

A figurine like this is well suited as a gift for collectors of Royal Copenhagen, for those who are fond of child figurines in porcelain, or for anyone who appreciates classic Danish design with history and warmth. Older porcelain figurines like this are created to be preserved and enjoyed for many years, and they bring soul, quality, and a sustainable perspective into the home.
