Royal Copenhagen seated baby boy figurine no. 022

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 022 depicts a seated baby boy in a calm and natural pose. With his finger by his mouth and the soft blue cloth pulled up over his head, the porcelain figurine has a quiet, thoughtful expression that gives the motif warmth and presence. It is a child figurine with a fine balance between simplicity and character, where the small details in the face, hands and feet make the figurine lively to look at.

The figurine is designed by Allan Therkelsen and belongs to the type of Royal Copenhagen porcelain figurines that many collectors appreciate for their human motif and timeless design language. The light glaze combined with the soft blue underglaze tones emphasizes the classic expression, which fits beautifully into both modern and more traditional homes. Precisely the motif of the seated baby makes the figurine ideal for you who are looking for a porcelain figurine with a child motif, baptism gift inspiration or a personal gift with Danish design history.

As a vintage porcelain figurine, it also contains the special joy that lies in choosing quality design that has already proven its durability over time. Older figurines like this add soul and personality to the home and are at the same time a sustainable choice when beautiful craftsmanship is allowed to live on in new surroundings. It can stand alone in a display cabinet, on a shelf, or be included together with other Royal Copenhagen figurines and child figurines in a collection.

The seated baby boy has a gentle and recognizable expression, which makes it decorative all year round. For collectors of Royal Copenhagen, for those who love classic porcelain figurines, or for you who want a figurine with a calm child motif, no. 022 is a charming choice with both decorative and collectible value.
