Royal Copenhagen raccoon figurine no. 054 Allan Therkelsen

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 054 depicts a climbing raccoon, holding on with its front paws to a branch by a tree stump. The motif has a vivid and narrative expression, where the raccoon's curious gaze and relaxed climbing pose give the figurine personality. The gray, black and white shades stand beautifully against the warm brown stump and highlight both the animal and the lifelike environment around it.

This porcelain figurine is designed by Allan Therkelsen and executed in underglaze, which supports the soft play of colors and the fine transitions in the decoration. In the pictures, clear details can be seen such as the raccoon's mask markings around the eyes, the dark paws and the characteristic ringed tail, which winds around by the stump. At the same time, the carved structure of the wood gives the figurine depth and a more sculptural effect.

A Royal Copenhagen animal figurine like this is well suited to both the collector and the one who wishes to decorate with classic Danish porcelain and figurines with charm. It works well alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a larger collection of animal figurines. Especially together with other nature motifs and porcelain figurines, it creates a personal expression with calm, history and craftsmanship quality.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special presence in the home. They bring not only decorative value, but also the joy of preserving design that is created to last and be appreciated for many years. This makes the figurine an obvious gift idea for collectors, animal lovers or for you who are fond of porcelain with character.
