Bing & Grøndahl pointer puppy no. 2060 - Lauritz Jensen

This Bing & Grøndahl dog figurine no. 2060 depicts a pointer puppy in a lively and recognizable moment, where it sits and scratches its side. The motif has a fine naturalness, which makes the figure both charming and true to the dog's movements. The relaxed posture, the hanging ears, and the dark markings give the figure a calm and homely expression, which fits beautifully among classic porcelain figurines and Danish design with animal motifs.

The figure is designed by Lauritz Jensen for Bing & Grøndahl and made in porcelain with underglaze. This very combination helps give the surface its soft glow and muted colors, which many collectors and interior enthusiasts appreciate. A dog figurine like this appeals both to collectors of Bing & Grøndahl, to those who love old porcelain figurines, and to everyone who would like to add a discreet detail with personality and history to the home.

A pointer puppy in porcelain is also a fine gift idea for the dog owner, the hunter, or the collector of animal figurines. The figure can be placed alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or together with other dog figurines and animal figurines in porcelain, where its natural posture creates variety in the collection. Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to give the interior soul, and at the same time they are a sustainable choice when beautiful craftsmanship is allowed to live on in new homes.
