Bing & Grøndahl Pointer with puppies figurine no. 2111

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 2111 is a classic dog figurine in porcelain featuring a pointer and its puppies. The figurine has a calm and intimate expression, where the adult dog lies protectively around the little ones while its head bends down toward them. The brown markings on the white glaze highlight the breed's characteristic appearance and give the motif life and warmth.

It is a porcelain figurine with fine, soft lines and a naturalistic modeling that suits Bing & Grøndahl's animal figurines particularly well. There is both movement and calm in the same composition: the elongated body, the slender legs, and the small puppies gathered closely against the mother create a figurine that appears harmonious from every angle. The underglaze decoration supports the calm overall impression and gives the surface the sheen that many collectors appreciate in older Danish porcelain.

The figurine is designed by Lauritz Jensen, who is known for his animal motifs with a sure sense of anatomy and mood. It is precisely the combination of mother dog and puppies that makes model 2111 sought after among collectors of Bing & Grøndahl figurines, dog figurines, and Danish porcelain. At the same time, it is a decorative figurine that fits beautifully in both classic and modern homes, where it can stand alone on a shelf, on a sideboard, or as part of a collection with other animal figurines.

Older porcelain figurines like this one have a special ability to add personality and history to the home. It is also a fine way to choose quality craftsmanship with a long lifespan and give a piece of Danish design tradition new life. For dog lovers, collectors, or as a gift idea, this pointer with puppies contains both charm, craftsmanship, and story.
