Bing & Grøndahl Boy with bucket figurine no. 2127

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 2127 depicts a small boy sitting absorbed with a bucket between his hands. The motif is quiet and present, and the figurine captures a moment of childhood concentration and play. The blue shades in the clothing, the light upper part, and the small bucket create a beautiful contrast that gives the porcelain figurine life and character from every angle.

Svend Lindhart has with a sure hand shaped a child figurine with natural body language and a calm expression. The boy is sitting on his knees with his head bent and his hands gathered around the bucket, and precisely this simple posture makes the figurine both human and atmospheric. It is a porcelain figurine that speaks to collectors of Bing & Grøndahl, but also to you who are fond of classic child figurines with an honest and everyday motif.

The figurine is made of porcelain with underglaze, which supports the soft play of colours and the smooth surface. It is beautifully suited for placement in a display cabinet, on a shelf, or as part of a collection with other B&G figurines and child figurines from the Danish porcelain tradition. It can also be a personal gift idea for a collector or for someone who appreciates Danish design and figurines with history.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they carry both craftsmanship and cultural history further into modern homes. Choosing a figurine with age and soul is also a fine way to give classic quality new life. Here you get a Bing & Grøndahl figurine where motif, model number, and artistic expression come together in a higher unity.
