Bing & Grøndahl girl buttoning shoes figurine no. 2317

This Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 2317 depicts a little girl in a calm and recognizable moment, where she sits bent forward and buttons her shoes. The motif has a fine everyday closeness, which makes the figurine lively to look at. The relaxed sitting position, the outstretched legs and the small hands at the shoe give the porcelain figurine a natural expression, which many collectors and lovers of classic child figurines will appreciate.

The girl is made with short light hair, blue top, white skirt and light shoes. The colors emphasize the classic Bing & Grøndahl expression, where the soft shapes and the calm glaze create a harmonious whole. The figurine is designed by Svend Jespersen, who is known for capturing movement and everyday scenes with great confidence. Here, it is precisely the quiet moment and the child's concentration that give the figurine character.

As a porcelain figurine, it fits beautifully into a collection of B&G child figurines, but it also works well alone on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as a personal detail in the decor. The motif makes it ideal for those who appreciate figurines with childhood life, nostalgia and classic Danish porcelain design. Older figurines like this have a special charm, because they carry history, craftsmanship and lasting quality forward into today's home. It is also a sustainable way to choose beautiful design, when an existing quality product is allowed to bring joy again.

A Bing & Grøndahl child figurine like this is also an obvious gift idea for collectors or for someone who appreciates porcelain with motif, warmth and personality. The little scene with the girl buttoning shoes makes the figurine easy to identify with and gives it a timeless expression that lasts year after year.
