Bing & Grøndahl Child Figurine Do not see no. 497 or 2497

Bing & Grøndahl child figurine "Do not see" is a classic porcelain figurine with a motif that is both playful, poetic and recognizable. The figurine depicts a small child standing with its hand up in front of its eyes, exactly as the title tells. The simple white expression gives the figurine calm and makes the motif even clearer, allowing the child's body language and the fine modeling to stand out.

The motif belongs to the series "The Three Virtues", and this very figurine conveys the well-known idea of not seeing. Svend Lindhart has created a child figurine with soft shapes and a natural, childlike expression, which makes it easy to love. The white porcelain figurine in blanc de chine appears pure and harmonious and fits beautifully into both classic and modern collections of Bing & Grøndahl figurines.

For collectors of B&G porcelain figurines, "Do not see" is a charming example of Danish figurative art, where motif and form merge into a higher unity. The figurine is also ideal for those who are fond of child figurines with history and personality. It looks beautiful in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a complete arrangement with other figurines from the series "The Three Virtues".

Older porcelain figurines like this bring something special into the home. They are created to last, to be preserved and to create joy for many years to come. Choosing vintage porcelain is at the same time a beautiful way to give fine craftsmanship new life. Here you get a figurine with collector's value, history and a timeless expression, which still speaks to today's interior design.
