Bing & Grøndahl Snowball Thrower figurine no. 8026 by Jens Jakob Bregnø

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 8026 depicts a snowball thrower in the middle of movement, just as the body turns and the snowball is held ready in the hands. The motif is lively and full of winter atmosphere, and the figurine captures a moment of play, energy and concentration. This makes it a porcelain figurine with both narrative and presence, which immediately draws attention in the interior.

The slender posture and the forward movement give the figurine a dynamic expression, while the clothing and the snow-shaped base emphasize the cold season and the everyday charm of the motif. The figurine fits beautifully among other Bing & Grøndahl figurines, but can also stand alone as a decorative collectible with distinct character. For collectors of Danish porcelain figurines, a snowball thrower is a motif that stands out with its natural movement and the story of winter, childhood and outdoor life.

The artist Jens Jakob Bregnø is known for figurines with life and humanity, and that is felt here as well. This B&G figurine has an immediacy that makes it interesting both for the experienced collector and for you who want a porcelain figurine with history and personality. Older porcelain figurines like this are made to last, and they carry both craftsmanship and cultural history further into the modern home. Choosing vintage porcelain is at the same time a beautiful way to give classic design new life.

The snowball thrower is ideal in a collection of human figures, winter motifs or classic Danish porcelain. It can be placed in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a personal arrangement with other figurines from Bing & Grøndahl. It is also an obvious gift idea for collectors or for anyone who loves nostalgic winter motifs and Danish figurative art.
