Bing & Grøndahl porcelain figurine child with cup and horse

This porcelain figurine from Bing & Grøndahl depicts a child with a cup in their hands, while a small horse lies on its head behind. The motif has a calm and narrative expression, where every detail helps give the figurine personality. It is exactly the kind of porcelain figurine that appeals to collectors of child figurines and to those who are fond of classic Danish figurine arrangements with warmth and everyday motifs.

The child motif makes the figurine ideal in a collection of porcelain figurines with children, play, and domestic scenes. The combination of the child and the toppled horse adds a small touch of narrative and life to the figurine, which makes it interesting to look at from several angles. Bing & Grøndahl is known for figurines where motif and atmosphere go hand in hand, and this figurine fits nicely into that tradition.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they bring history and soul into the interior. They can stand alone in a display cabinet, on a shelf, or as part of a larger collection of Danish figurines and decorative arts. Choosing vintage porcelain is at the same time a beautiful way to give fine craftsmanship new life and preserve objects that are created to be appreciated for many years.

It should be noted that the child has a small manufacturing crack on the back of the neck. This information follows the existing item description and is important to know when purchasing the figurine.
