Royal Copenhagen Two Squirrels figurine no. 416, 19 cm

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 416 depicts two squirrels closely gathered on a white base, modelled with a calm and natural movement that gives the figurine life from all angles. One holds a nut between its front paws, while the other leans in against the side, and together they create a motif with warmth, closeness and classic charm. The soft shapes, the large tails and the fine facial features make the figurine easy to cherish, both as a collector's item and as an atmospheric detail in the home.

The figurine is made of porcelain with underglaze and designed by Chr. Thomsen for Royal Copenhagen. The colour scheme is subdued and harmonious with light beige shades, white tails and discreet dark details at the eyes, paws and nut. This gives a natural expression that fits beautifully into both classic and modern interiors. The decorative base elevates the figurine and emphasises its character as a fully realised porcelain figurine with a clear reference to Danish porcelain tradition.

For collectors of Royal Copenhagen animal figurines, Two Squirrels no. 416 is a sought-after model with a motif that speaks to both love of nature and Danish design history. At the same time, it is a figurine that is easy to place on a shelf, in a display cabinet, on a side table or as part of a personal arrangement with other porcelain figurines. Older porcelain figurines like this contain both craftsmanship, history and the special joy of giving enduring quality objects new life in today's home.

It is also an obvious gift idea for anyone who is fond of Royal Copenhagen, animal figurines or porcelain with character. The motif with the two squirrels makes the figurine lively and present, and it adds personality to the home without seeming heavy. Here you get a Royal Copenhagen figurine that can both be enjoyed for its decorative value and appreciated as part of a collection.
