Royal Copenhagen H.C. Andersen figurine no. 4216 white

This white Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 4216 depicts H.C. Andersen in a calm and characterful representation, where the famous poet is seen standing with a top hat, long coat and umbrella in hand. In the other hand he holds a small bouquet, and it is precisely these simple, distinct details that give the figurine a poetic and almost narrative expression. It is a porcelain figurine that appeals both to collectors of Royal Copenhagen and to anyone with an interest in Danish cultural history and H.C. Andersen.

The figurine is made after a design by Hans H. Hansen and combines the figurative motif with the pure, white Blanc de Chine effect. The light porcelain surface emphasizes form and silhouette rather than colors, so the eye naturally focuses on posture, face, clothing and the small details in hands and hat. The underglaze and the white execution give the figurine a classic, calm expression that fits beautifully into both traditional and modern homes.

As an H.C. Andersen figurine, the model also has a special appeal as a gift idea for the literature enthusiast, for the collector of Danish porcelain figurines, or as a personal addition to a shelf, display cabinet or desk. The figurine works well on its own, but it can also be combined with other white Royal Copenhagen figurines, where it will add both history, identity and a distinct Danish touch to the collection.

Older porcelain figurines like this have their own present quality. They are created to be preserved, used and appreciated through generations, and precisely for that reason they are also an obvious choice for anyone who wants interior decor with history and soul. A figurine like this not only brings classic Danish design into the home, but also the joy of giving well-crafted workmanship new life.
