Bing & Grøndahl Boy with bow and arrow figurine no. 2327

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 2327 depicts a boy with bow and arrow in a lively and narrative motif that captures a moment of tension and concentration. The figurine is modeled with the boy in a kneeling position, head raised and gaze turned upward, while the bow is carried over the shoulder. This gives the porcelain figurine a fine sense of movement and anticipation.

The color scheme is classic and calm with a white shirt, blue trousers and light boots, while the hair is done in a subdued brown tone. The simple underglaze emphasizes the figurine's clean lines and gives the surface the shine and depth that many collectors associate with older Bing & Grøndahl porcelain figurines. The motif has both something dreamy and adventurous about it and fits beautifully among other child figurines or as a standalone feature in the interior.

The figurine is designed by Vita Birgitte Thymann, and her design language is seen here in the natural posture and the calm balance between detail and entirety. As a child figurine, it appeals both to collectors of Bing & Grøndahl, to those who are fond of Danish porcelain, and to you who want a figurine with personality and history. It is precisely figurines with character and narrative that add warmth and soul to the home, and at the same time they are a sustainable choice when beautiful craftsmanship is allowed to live on from generation to generation.

Boy with bow and arrow is also ideal as a gift for a collector or as part of a display with classic porcelain figurines, where motif and craftsmanship are allowed to speak for themselves. It looks beautiful in a display cabinet, on a shelf or on a chest of drawers, where it can be seen from several angles and show its characteristic kneeling posture.
