Dahl Jensen Great Dane figurine no. 1112, 29 cm

Dahl Jensen Great Dane figurine no. 1112 is a striking dog figurine in porcelain with a calm and attentive expression. The figurine depicts a reclining Great Dane, modelled with an upright neck, raised head and a posture that gives the motif both strength and dignity. It is precisely this combination that makes this type of porcelain figurine sought after among collectors of classic Danish figurative art and among dog lovers who want a decorative object with character.

Jens Peter Dahl Jensen has given the figurine a lifelike and vivid form, where the breed's long lines and elegant proportions stand out clearly. In the pictures, a glossy glaze with white, grey and dark areas can be seen, which emphasises the contours of the figurine and gives the surface depth and play. The upright ears, the alert gaze and the relaxed reclining position create a motif that appears both harmonious and present.

As a porcelain figurine, this Great Dane fits beautifully into an interior with a focus on Danish design, vintage finds and personal details. It can be placed on a shelf, on a sideboard or in a display cabinet, where it is allowed to stand on its own, but it can also be combined with other animal figurines or classic porcelain. For collectors, figurine number 1112 is an important identification, and for gift buyers it is an obvious choice for someone who is fond of dogs, porcelain and Danish design with history.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to add soul and personality to the home. They are created to last a long time and can continue to bring joy in modern surroundings, while at the same time representing a more sustainable choice than new production. Here you get a figurine with both decorative value and collector interest.
