Royal Copenhagen Monthly Figurine March Girl no. 4525

Royal Copenhagen monthly figurine "March" no. 4525 shows a girl in a quiet, early spring moment. She stands warmly dressed in a blue hat, scarf, and jacket with a small bouquet of flowers in her hand, while leaning against a tree stump. The motif has a calm and reflective atmosphere that suits the month of March beautifully, when winter is still felt, but spring is slowly on its way.

The figurine is designed by Hans H. Hansen and made in porcelain with underglaze. The muted blue, grey, and white shades give the figurine the classic Royal Copenhagen expression that many collectors and porcelain lovers are fond of. The fine modelling in the face, clothing, and the small flowers helps give the figurine life and personality without seeming overdone.

As a child figurine and monthly figurine, this model has a special appeal to both collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines and to those of you seeking porcelain figurines with a poetic motif. It works beautifully on its own on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a larger collection of monthly figurines and child figurines. The motif also makes it an obvious gift idea for someone who has a special connection to March, spring, or classic Danish porcelain design.

Older porcelain figurines like this contain a quality and a durability that make them worth preserving and enjoying for many years. Precisely this type of decorative art and collectibles adds soul and personality to the home and is at the same time a beautiful choice for those of you who appreciate design with history.
