About the item
This 2009 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day Jubilee plate was issued to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate in 1969. The motif of this 2009 Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day Jubilee plate is the same as the motif of the 1971 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate. The motif shows a cat with Kitten. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day Jubilee Plates were started in 1979 and are still being continued with a new Jubilee plate every fifth year.
