The 1990 Desirée commemorative plate was manufactured of The Porcelain Factory Désirée to celebrate the 20 years anniversary for the first Hans Christian Andersen Christmas plate manufactured by The Porcelain Factory Desiree, also known as Désirée Denmark, Svend Jensen of Denmark, Old Copenhagen Blue. The motif of this plate is the same as the motif of the 1975 Christmas plate. The plate was designed by Gerhard Sausmark and was manufactured in underglaze.
