About the item

1999 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate with the title Rabbit with her Young Ones was designed by Finn Clausen. In some areas in Denmark it is possible to find wild rabbits. The rabbits are gregarious animals and live together in colonies. The rabbits are making caves in the underground where they give birth to their cubs. When the cubs are born they are blind and naked. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plates were started in 1969 and are still being continued with a new Mother's Day plate every year.
