This 1994 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day Jubilee plate was issued to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the first Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate in 1969. The motif of this 1994 Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day Jubilee plate is the same as the motif of the 1980 Bing & Grondahl Mother's Day plate. The motif shows a woodpecker with chicks. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day plate was designed by Henry Thelander. The Bing & Grondahl Mothers Day Jubilee Plates were started in 1979 and are still being continued with a new Jubilee plate every fifth year.
