The plate has the title Copenhagen Christmas. This motif is from Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. We see the Round Tower in the background. This tower eas designed by Hans van Steenwinckel jr for king Christian IV, and it was built 1637-1642, as the first part of the Trinity complex. At the top of the tower, which is 34.8 m above street level, is an observatory. This building is still today visited by numerous Danish as well as foreign tourists every year.
