1955 Bing & Grondahl Christmas plate, designed by Kjeld Bonfils, has the title The Kalundborg Church. Bing & Grondahl's Christmas plate from 1955 depicts Kalundborg Church on Zealand. This church can be dated back to 1170, and it is said to have been built by Esbern Snare, the twin brother of Bishop Absalon, founder of Copenhagen. Our Lady Church is a unique building, formed as a Greek cross, where each arm ends in a tower. At the centre of the church is also a tower. This tower is rectangular, and the other 4 towers are octagonal.
