The plate depicts an old clinker-built sail boat anchored at Nyhavn. Nyhavn, built by king Christian V, is the oldest part of Copenhagen harbour, stretching from Kongens Nytorv to Oresund. This area is visited by many tourists because ogf the picturesque houses and the many boats and small restaurants in the area.
