Royal Copenhagen's Christmas plate from 1950 depicts Boeslunde Church, which be- cause of the tall tower, can be seen from far away.Boeslunde is situated in the western part of Sealand, towards the Great Belt. This church is also known as The Holy Cross church, because of a spring, which was thought to have healing effects. The first church was ercted in this plase in app. year 1300, it was restored in the Middleages,and last restored in 1867.
