1972 Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate, designed by Kaj Lange, has the title In the desert. Royal Copenhagen's Christmas plate from 1972 depicts three men riding their camels through the desert. This motif brings to mind the old narratives from the Bible. At the same time, it is also a scene from the present day, as artist Kaj Lange found the motif on one of his journeys.
