Bing & Grøndahl cat figurine no. 2517 grey kitten with raised tail 14 cm

Bing & Grøndahl cat figurine no. 2517 is a charming porcelain figurine that captures the cat's curious and alert body language in a simple, lifelike design language. The grey kitten stands with its tail raised and its head bent forward, as if it has just caught the scent of something exciting on the floor. This gives the figurine life and movement and makes it an atmospheric feature for those who are fond of classic animal figurines in porcelain.

The smooth underglaze and the soft grey-toned decoration emphasize the figurine's calm expression. Ears, paws, back and tail are modelled with fine transitions, and the simple colour scheme makes the figurine easy to place in the décor. It fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet collection or as part of a larger arrangement with other porcelain animals. For collectors of Bing & Grøndahl figurines and cat figurines, model number 2517 also has an important identification, which makes it easy to recognize.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to add personality and history to the home. Here you get not just a decorative cat figurine, but also a piece of Danish porcelain tradition, created to be preserved and appreciated for many years. It is ideal as a gift for the cat lover, for the collector or for you who would like to decorate with original design objects with soul rather than new production.
