Royal Copenhagen Ginger cat figurine no. 679 Allan Therkelsen 6 cm

Royal Copenhagen Ginger figurine no. 679 is a charming cat figurine in porcelain that captures the playful and relaxed nature of a kitten in the middle of a little tumbling pause. The figurine lies on its back with its paws raised, its tail curved over the body and its gaze directed upward, as if it is occupied with its own tail or an invisible game. The warm ginger-coloured stripes against the light base give the figurine life and make it easy to recognise for anyone who is fond of cat figurines in porcelain.

This Royal Copenhagen figurine is designed by Allan Therkelsen and belongs to the series with 12 mini cat figurines. It is made in porcelain with underglaze, which gives it the glossy surface and the soft colour transitions that suit the motif so well. The expression is natural and lively, but at the same time simple and calm, so the figurine functions both as a collector's item and as a decorative detail in the home.

Ginger is a fine choice for you who collect Royal Copenhagen figurines, cat figurines or Danish porcelain design. The small size makes it easy to place on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as a personal detail on the desk. The figurine also goes well with other animal figurines from Royal Copenhagen and can be an obvious gift for the cat lover who appreciates classic Danish design with character.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special ability to add warmth, history and personality to the home. That is precisely part of the joy of choosing design with soul: to give good craftsmanship new life and let it have a place in a modern interior, where it can still awaken smiles and curiosity.
