Royal Copenhagen cat figurine 682 Allan Therkelsen

Royal Copenhagen figurine no. 682 is a charming cat figurine in porcelain that captures the cat's playful and relaxed nature with great confidence. The figurine depicts a light-colored cat lying on its side with one paw raised in the air, as if in the middle of play or washing. The blue eyes, the pink paw pads and the soft modeling give the figurine a lively and present expression, making it a decorative porcelain figurine for both cat lovers and collectors of Danish design.

The cat figurine is designed by Allan Therkelsen for Royal Copenhagen and is referred to in the existing product text as part of Royal Copenhagen's mini cat series. Here, the fine sense of movement and personality that makes small animal figurines so sought-after is clearly visible. The smooth glaze and the delicately executed details emphasize the figurine's calm, humorous expression, while the reclining position sets it apart from more formal animal figurines and gives it a light and homely character.

As a porcelain figurine, this cat fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet, on a chest of drawers or as a small detail in a personal still life. It is also an obvious gift for a cat friend or for the collector who is fond of Royal Copenhagen figurines, animal figurines and classic Danish porcelain. Older design objects like this add history and personality to the home, and at the same time they are a beautiful choice for those who appreciate good craftsmanship and the joy of giving quality objects new life.

The figurine has an expression that makes it easy to combine with other cat figurines, porcelain figurines or smaller art objects. It works both on its own and as part of a collection, where its relaxed posture and fine face immediately catch the eye.
