Royal Copenhagen annual figure 2019 Rabbit - Allan Therkelsen

Royal Copenhagen annual figure 2019 Rabbit is a charming porcelain figure with an attentive and lively expression. The rabbit sits upright with raised ears and its gaze turned upward, as if it has just discovered something in its surroundings. The soft grey shades and the fine modelling give the figure depth and make it an atmospheric feature in the home, both on its own and together with other collector's items from Royal Copenhagen.

The figure is designed by Allan Therkelsen and executed in underglaze, which emphasizes the classic craftsmanship and the smooth, durable surface that many collectors associate with Royal Copenhagen. As an annual figure from 2019, it has its own place in the series of RC annual figures, and at the same time it is an obvious choice for collectors who wish to expand or complete their collection with precisely this year's motif.

This rabbit has been taken from the motif on the same year's Royal Copenhagen Christmas plate. This gives the figure an extra story and makes it particularly interesting for collectors of the 2019 releases. If one knows the Christmas plate from 2019, one will immediately recognize the rabbit as part of the larger motif universe, and precisely that connection adds a fine coherence between plate and porcelain figure.

The rabbit figure fits beautifully into both classic and modern interiors. It can stand in a display cabinet collection, on a shelf, in a windowsill or as a small porcelain detail on a table, where its calm design language and nature motif are allowed to stand out. For collectors of Royal Copenhagen figures, animal figures and annual figures, it is also an obvious gift idea, because it combines year, well-known design and a motif that is easy to love.
