Royal Copenhagen Seated woman figurine no. 051 Scandinavian women

Seated woman from Royal Copenhagen is a porcelain figurine with a calm and thoughtful expression that fits beautifully into the collection of Scandinavian women. The figurine is modelled with a relaxed, seated posture, where the gaze is turned slightly to the side, and precisely this quiet movement gives the figurine life and presence. The blue dress with fine nuances and the light collar create a classic colour scheme that suits the motif and emphasises the Nordic character of the series.

The design is created by Allan Therkelsen, and the figurine bears his sure sense of human form, balance and mood. This is not an exaggerated or theatrical motif, but a female figure with simplicity, grace and a natural dignity that makes it easy to appreciate. The small hat by the figurine's hand is a visible detail that gives the motif additional narrative and makes the model more full of character.

As a Royal Copenhagen figurine, it is made of porcelain and decorated in underglaze, which gives the blue tones depth and a soft, durable surface. This makes the figurine interesting both for collectors of porcelain figurines and for you who want a decorative design object with classic Danish design language. The Scandinavian women series is sought after among many collectors, and figurine no. 051 is a fine choice if you are fond of figurines with a human motif and a clear connection to Danish porcelain art.

A figurine like this fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a larger arrangement with other Royal Copenhagen figurines. It can also be an obvious gift for the collector, for the design enthusiast or for you who would like to decorate with porcelain that contains both history, craftsmanship and personality. Older porcelain figurines like this are at the same time a meaningful choice for you who value quality created to last and the joy of giving good design new life in a modern home.
