Royal Copenhagen Airplane figurine no. 293 Toys Sven Vestergaard

Royal Copenhagen Airplane figurine no. 293 is a charming porcelain figurine from the Toys series, created by Sven Vestergaard. The figurine depicts a small propeller plane with wheels and two passengers in an open cockpit, executed in a simple and playful design language that immediately brings to mind classic toys and the fantasy world of childhood.

The plane is kept in light shades with a dark propeller and wheels, while the red roundels and the number "05" give the model a fine, graphic touch. It is precisely the type of figurine that works both as a decorative design figurine and as a small nostalgic feature in the interior. The motif has a lightness and narrative charm that fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or together with other figurines with toy motifs.

As part of Royal Copenhagen's Toys series, the figurine also appeals to collectors seeking the small, characterful porcelain figurines in the collection. It can stand alone as a small piece of Danish design with personality, but is also ideal for complementing an existing collection and creating a fine whole together with other figurines from the series. When older quality design is allowed to live on, it is at the same time a beautiful way to bring history, craftsmanship, and thoughtfulness into the home.

The porcelain figurine is executed in underglaze and according to the existing product text cast, shaped, and painted by hand. This is evident in the lively expression and in the small details that give the airplane character. A fine gift idea for collectors of Royal Copenhagen figurines, for those who are fond of airplanes and toy motifs, or for anyone who appreciates Danish porcelain with soul.
