Royal Copenhagen Theodor 2007 teddy bear of the year figurine

Theodor from 2007 is a charming porcelain figurine from Royal Copenhagen, created as the teddy bear of the year in the beloved series Victor & Victorias family. Here we meet the little teddy in a moment full of pride and eagerness to learn, where he is holding a blackboard with the letter "A" and a red apple. The motif gives the figurine a warm and narrative expression, which makes it ideal for both collectors and anyone who is fond of figurines with personality.

Sheilah Beckett is behind the design, and her assured eye for storytelling is clearly felt in the figurine's expression and posture. Theodor is made in underglaze and appears in light, soft shades with a blue sweater, light shorts and the classic, friendly teddy bear character that has made Victor & Victorias family a sought-after figurine series. The figurine stands on a round white base, and the small blackboard with "A" makes the motif both recognizable and lovely to associate with childhood, learning and family life.

As part of Victor & Victorias family, the figurine has extra appeal for collectors who wish to expand or complete the series. At the same time, Theodor also works beautifully on its own, where it can bring a gentle and nostalgic touch into the interior. A figurine like this is well suited in a display cabinet, on a shelf in the living room or as a personal gift for a collector of Royal Copenhagen figurines and B&G series.

Older figurines with history and soul have a very special value. They are created to be preserved, collected and enjoyed for many years, and precisely for that reason Theodor is also a fine example of how classic design and good craftsmanship can still find a place in the modern home. For collectors of Victor & Victoria figurines, this 2007 edition is an atmospheric addition with a motif that stands out.
