Bing & Grøndahl Victor 2000 Teddy Bear of the Year figurine

Victor 2000 from Bing & Grøndahl is a charming teddy bear figurine with a calm and friendly expression that makes it easy to love. The figurine shows Victor standing with a bouquet of white flowers in his hand, wearing a light blue cap, bow tie and waistcoat with fine light blue details. This gives the figurine a polite and almost solemn character, which fits beautifully into the popular Victor and Victoria series.

Sheilah Beckett has created a motif that naturally combines storytelling and collector's delight. Here it is not just a bear, but a figurine with personality and atmosphere. The light colour scheme and the soft shapes make it suitable as decoration in the home, where it can stand in a display cabinet, on a shelf or as part of a collection with other figurines from the series. At the same time, it also works well on its own as a decorative porcelain figurine with a classic Bing & Grøndahl expression.

As Teddy Bear of the Year 2000, Victor is also of interest to collectors who are specifically looking for annual figurines or wish to expand their Victor and Victoria collection. The series is known for its small storytelling figurines, and this edition stands out with the bouquet of flowers and the well-dressed expression. This makes it an obvious gift for a collector, for someone who is fond of bear figurines, or for you who would like to add a little nostalgia and personality to the home.

Older figurines like this carry both history and craftsmanship, and that is precisely part of the joy of choosing classic design with soul. A figurine like Victor 2000 can still bring joy in a modern home and is at the same time a fine example of how collectibles and applied art can gain new life from generation to generation.
