Royal Copenhagen Theodor 2005 Teddy Bear of the Year figurine

Theodor 2005 Teddy Bear of the Year is a charming figurine from Royal Copenhagen, created by Sheilah Beckett. The figurine shows a small teddy bear in motion with a raised arm, a striped sweater, and a light blue bag on its back. This gives the figurine a lively and narrative expression, which immediately brings to mind childhood, adventure, and the expectant joy of setting out into the world.

As part of Victor & Victoria's family, Theodor has an expression that fits beautifully into the beloved figurine series, but he also works really well on his own. The soft modeling, the calm colors, and the recognizable bear silhouette make him a porcelain figurine that appeals both to collectors and to those who simply love classic figurines with personality. The blue-and-white sweater and the bag add a playful and everyday touch to the motif, which makes the figurine easy to place in the home.

Royal Copenhagen figurines of this type are popular collectibles, and Theodor from 2005 can be a fine addition to an existing collection of Victor & Victoria figurines. At the same time, it is a decorative bear figurine that fits on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as a personal gift for someone who loves teddy bears, Danish design, and figurines with a story. When choosing older design figurines with lasting quality, it is also a beautiful way to give fine craftsmanship new life and let it continue to spread joy in a modern home.

Sheilah Beckett has created a figurine with a warm and welcoming expression, where the movement and the fine details make Theodor easy to love. For collectors of Royal Copenhagen and for those seeking a teddy bear figurine with a year designation, this is a model with both collector interest and decorative value.
