Bing & Grøndahl Scottish Terrier figurine no. 2069 19 cm

This standing Scottish Terrier from Bing & Grøndahl is a classic dog figurine in porcelain, where the breed's characteristic silhouette has been captured with a sure hand. The long, low body, the upright ears and the raised tail give the figurine an alert and upright expression, while the modeling of the fur around the legs, chest and head adds life and personality. It is precisely the type of porcelain figurine many look for when searching for a Scottish Terrier figurine with both collector's value and decorative impact.

The figurine has item number 2069 and measures 19 cm, making it a prominent size in the interior. It fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet or as part of a collection of Bing & Grøndahl animal figurines and dog figurines. It is also an obvious gift for the dog lover, especially for someone who is fond of Scottish Terrier, Danish porcelain and older design with character. The technique is underglaze, which is known for providing a durable and refined surface.

There is something special about older porcelain figurines like this one. They bring history, craftsmanship and personality into the home and are a fine example of how good design can live on across generations. A figurine like this can both stand alone and be combined with other dog figurines, porcelain figurines or classic Danish decorative art, where it adds a lively and charming expression. For collectors of Bing & Grøndahl, model 2069 is at the same time a relevant figurine, because figurine number and dog breed are important details when searching for specific models.
