Bing & Grøndahl Scottish Terrier figurine no. 2167, 7.5 cm

Bing & Grøndahl Scottish Terrier figurine no. 2167 is a classic dog figurine in porcelain that captures the breed's characteristic expression with a confident hand. The standing Scottish Terrier is modelled with an upright posture, pointed ears, raised tail, and the distinctive head that makes the breed so easily recognizable. The grey-blue glaze gives the figurine a calm and harmonious expression that fits beautifully into both modern and more traditional interiors.

From all angles, the figurine appears with a simple and precise design language. The body is long and compact, the legs short and sturdy, and the face has an alert look that gives the porcelain figurine life and personality. It is precisely this balance between naturalistic motif and stylish form that makes Bing & Grøndahl dog figurines so sought after among collectors and dog lovers.

The figurine is made of porcelain with underglaze, which supports the smooth, glossy surface and the soft colour variations in the glaze. With its modest size of 7.5 cm, it is easy to place on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a collection of animal figurines and older porcelain. It also works well as a gift for someone who is fond of Scottish Terriers, classic Danish porcelain, or small figurines with character.

As an older porcelain figurine, it also contains the special atmosphere that accompanies quality objects created to last for many years. It adds personality to the home and is a fine example of how older decorative art can still create joy in a contemporary environment. For collectors, figurine number 2167 is an important detail, and for the interior, it is a small figurine with great presence.
