Bing & Grøndahl Great Dane figurine 2190 - reclining dog

Bing & Grøndahl Great Dane figurine no. 2190 is a characterful porcelain figurine with a calm and attentive expression. The dog is lying down with an upright neck and raised head, as if it is following what is happening in the room around it. The motif combines strength and calm in a way that makes the figurine a decorative eye-catcher for both dog lovers and collectors of Danish porcelain.

The figurine is designed by Svend Jespersen, who is known for his lifelike animal motifs. Here, the Great Dane's long lines and slender, muscular body are rendered with a confident sense of proportion. In the pictures, the figurine appears in glossy porcelain with soft grey and white shades, which emphasize the model's elegant form and give the surface life. The reclining position gives the figurine a fine balance between dignity and relaxed presence.

As a dog figurine from Bing & Grøndahl, it fits well into a collection of animal figurines, but it also stands beautifully on its own on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as a personal detail in the home decor. It is ideal as a gift for a dog friend, for the collector of Bing & Grøndahl figurines, or for you who appreciate classic Danish design in porcelain. A figurine like this brings both history, craftsmanship, and personality into the home.
