Bing & Grøndahl Cathrine figurine no. 2392 Claire Weiss

Bing & Grøndahl figurine no. 2392 "Cathrine" is a porcelain figurine with a calm and present expression. The figurine depicts a young girl sitting absorbed with a small white jug in her hands. The downward gaze and the quiet posture give the figurine a fine sense of contemplation and everyday life, which makes it very characteristic in the interior.

Claire Weiss has created a motif that combines simplicity and human warmth. The soft shapes and the subdued color scheme in blue and white shades emphasize the classic expression that many collectors and connoisseurs of Bing & Grøndahl figurines appreciate. The small seated girl has a timeless character, and that is precisely what makes "Cathrine" suitable both as a collector's figurine and as a decorative porcelain figurine in a modern home.

As a porcelain figurine in underglaze, the model carries the special quality associated with traditional Danish porcelain. The motif of the girl and the jug gives the figurine a homely and poetic character, and it fits beautifully on a shelf, in a display cabinet, or as part of a larger collection of B&G child figurines. If you already have other human figurines or child figurines from Bing & Grøndahl, this model will be a natural addition.

Older porcelain figurines like this have a special charm because they bring both history and personality into the home. It is also a beautiful way to choose quality design with a long lifespan and pass on fine craftsmanship. "Cathrine" is therefore ideal for the collector, for the porcelain enthusiast, or as a gift for someone who appreciates classic figurines with soul.
