Bing & Grøndahl lion cub figurine 2528 lying

This Bing & Grøndahl lion cub figurine no. 2528 shows a young lion in a calm, lying position with raised head and an attentive gaze. The figurine has a natural and lively expression, where the long tail, the rounded ears and the soft lines of the body give the motif character. The warm, brownish glaze emphasizes the animal figurine's calm appearance and makes it easy to place in the interior, where it adds both warmth and personality.

As a porcelain figurine, it has a formal language that fits well with classic Danish design and with collectors of Bing & Grøndahl figurines, Royal Copenhagen figurines and animal figurines in porcelain. The lying lion cub appears both relaxed and alert at the same time, and it is precisely that balance that makes the figurine interesting to look at from several angles. The smooth surface and the simple modelling let the motif stand clearly without superfluous details.

A lion figurine like this is ideal for a display cabinet, bookshelf, desk or as part of a collection with other porcelain animals. It also works well as a gift for someone who is fond of Nordic porcelain, animal figurines or older design with history. When choosing a figurine like this, you also get the pleasure of a quality product that is created to last and to be appreciated for many years. This makes older porcelain a beautiful and sustainable choice, where fine craftsmanship gets new life in a modern home.
